What We Reviewed
Lighthouse’s design team provided us with PDFs of their proposed layouts. Before we moved into build, we assessed the files from a template perspective to ensure they’d translate smoothly into Word.

- Style hierarchy: We reviewed the heading levels to ensure the formatting would be intuitive and easy to apply with one click.
- Font choices: Their designs featured a beautiful custom font. We advised on where to use system fonts for editable text to avoid compatibility issues.
- Text box behaviour: We flagged layered elements that might become difficult to manage once editable, suggesting cleaner structures for long-term ease.
- Spacing and consistency: We ensured the designs wouldn’t fall apart with repeated use, checking that spacing, alignment, and layout logic could hold up in Word.

Following the review, we built a suite of Word templates tailored to the Lighthouse Foundation’s needs, including:
