Ascender | Cerebral Palsy Alliance
Sydney based design studio Ascender wanted to create a client engagement tool for Cerebral Palsy Alliance, to help CPA employees plan and share their daily schedules.
Ascender approached Timplates to create a template for the daily and weekly schedule they had devised and designed for Cerebral Palsy Alliance new employee engagement tool.
This daily and weekly schedule template created in PowerPoint (with the plan to switch to G-Suite) would allow the user to print these out for themselves, or their children, to help create structure and clarity at home, while everyone was in lockdown. CPA also wanted to support clients to make sure they could find time to fit in therapy at home appointments.
Project scope & features
- Build for PowerPoint using Office 365 on PC to be compatible with PowerPoint for Mac, and with the ability to be uploaded and edited in Google Sheets
- Arial font throughout
- Four versions required
- Daily and weekly schedule
- A4 Landscape and Portrait
To create the cut-out and stick activity-style in PowerPoint, ‘stickers’ were included in the sample slide, which could then be easily copied and moved to any time or day slot as required. The PowerPoint default ‘snap to’ feature worked well to ensure everything aligned when moving into position.
The stickers included a section of notes that were already setup, along with prompts and simple instructions for the user to create and use their own stickers.
Once completed the schedule can be printed out and put up for easy reference, or PDF’d and sent to someone else.

Why we liked it
The joy of template building is looking for different ways to put Word and PowerPoint to good use and it's always a treat to be presented with an unusual challenge such as this, that directly helps people. The client was very happy with the way this template turned out.
